Ingredients
• 6 chicken thighs or legs
• granulated garlic
• 8 garlic cloves, finely chopped
• 1 bunch of green onion
• 1/3 cup of honey
• 1/4 cup of water
• 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
• 2 tbsp soy sauce
salt, pepper and flour

Instructions

• Pat chicken dry with paper towels. Season chicken
with salt, pepper and garlic. Dust very lightly in seasoned
all-purpose flour.
• Heat a heavy bottom pan over medium to high heat.
Sear chicken in a heavy drizzle of oil for 3-5 minutes.
Flip chicken, cover and cook on low to medium heat until
the chicken is thoroughly cooked through.
(165° at center of chicken) Remove chicken from pan.
• Drain fat from pan, leaving about 2 tablespoons of fat
in the bottom of the pan (Add more oil if needed). Add
chopped garlic and cook until fragrant. Add water, honey,
vinegar, soy sauce, and green onions. Add chicken back
into the pan. Increase heat to medium to high and cook
until sauce reduces and thickens (about 2-3 minutes).
• Serve over rice along with your favorite steamed veggie.
