Its products range from kayaks and boat parts, to fishing rods, to wetsuits, to insulated lunch bags & coolers, to GPS/navigation systems, to portable speakers and stereo systems, to sunscreen, and everything in between.

At the moment, approximately 250 West Marine locations exist throughout the United States (including 2 in Puerto Rico), with its 10 locations throughout Canada having closed in recent years. Some prominent existing locations include the stores in San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Honolulu, Woburn, Pensacola, and Fort Lauderdale (the largest boating store in the U.S.).
