The Fresh Market Signature Pepper Blend
A proprietary mix of butcher-cut pepper, Hudson Valley
salt, nigella seeds, turbinado sugar, green and red bell
peppers, paprika, ground black pepper, and onion, our
spice blend is the perfect pair for our standing rib roast.
"The larger chunks of pepper bring a small amount
of heat and the nigella seeds add an interesting aromatic
quality to the blend, while the sugar helps create a nice
crust on the roast," Jeff Earl, director of Meat & Seafood
Merchandising at The Fresh Market, says.
In addition to our standing rib roast, Earl says this
versatile blend pairs well with other meats, too. "It's been
great on anything we've tried it on-pork tenderloin,
whole chicken, any beef cut-it's a very versatile blend."
