garlic pull-apart bread

ingredients
1 loaf German sourdough ½ cup shredded Parmesan
bread
cheese
½ cup salted butter,
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
cheese
softened
1 tbsp. minced garlic
1
tbsp. Italian seasoning
directions
1.
Cut even horizontal slices into the bread, 34 of the way
through the loaf.
2. Smear butter and garlic in between the slices, followed
by Italian seasoning.
3.
Pack the shredded cheeses between each layer.
4. Carefully cut vertical slices in a similar fashion, not
all the way through, to make it easy to pull the bread
apart.
5. If cooking over a campfire, wrap bread in aluminum
foil and place on a rack or grate over the fire. Bake
for 15 minutes or until bread has started to toast and
cheese has fully melted.
6. If using an oven, wrap bread in foil and bake at 425°F
for 20 minutes.

ingredients
1 lb. ground beef

(28 oz.) can homestyle
baked beans
1 yellow onion, diced
4
cloves garlic, minced
salt, to taste
1
(12 oz.) beef smoked
sausage, sliced
hot sauce, to taste
crusty bread, for serving
1 (10 oz.) can diced
tomatoes with green chiles
directions
1. Over an open fire or on a stove top, brown ground beef
in a Dutch oven.
2. Add onion, garlic and smoked sausage. Cook for about
10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onions are soft.
3. Add in the tomatoes and baked beans. Cover and simmer
for 15 minutes. Taste the mixture and season with salt and
hot sauce to taste.
4. Serve with crusty bread.
