simpler sausage
We make our Italian sausage using
premium cuts of pork with no
added nitrates, no preservatives
and no artificial colors or flavors.
It's that simple.

ingredients

box frozen puff pastry
sheets, thawed
2/3 cup Dijon mustard
6
mild Italian sausages,
casings removed
1
egg, lightly beaten
directions
1.
Roll out puff pastry widthwise until
1" is added to all sheets.
2.
On each sheet, spread 1 tablespoon
of mustard on the side closest to you.
3. Place a sausage on top of the
mustard. Brush beaten egg on the
opposite side of the puff pastry
sheet. Roll puff pastry around the
sausages away from you and pinch
the edge to seal the roll. Place roll.
seam-side down on parchment
paper and brush the top with egg
wash. Repeat with remaining sheets
and sausage.

Refrigerate rolls for one hour, then
preheat oven to 375°F.
5. Using a very sharp knife, slice each
roll into six 1" pieces.

Place each piece on parchment and
brush the top with more egg wash.
7. Bake for 30 minutes, or until
sausage is fully cooked and pastry
is golden brown.
