Exercising is a major part of your life as a
professional athlete. What is the importance of
staying active and making time for exercise for
all women?

From eating well and exercising, to taking care
of your mental health, what are some things
you do to keep yourself healthy and feeling
beautiful from the inside out?
During the pandemic, I started a gratitude
journal, and it's really been good for me to
start my day off with positive vibes by focusing
on things that I'm grateful for. I also try to
recognize when I need time for myself. It's
always hard for me to ask for help, but leaning
into the support systems that I have and saying
when I need a minute makes me happy.
Staying active is great for not only my physical
health, but my mental health. I like to make
smaller, more attainable goals which ultimately
get me to my end goal. I also enjoy having
people to train with who encourage me and
hold me accountable. Also, people often say
"no days off" and that's not ok! We need to
take days off to rest and that's just as important
as training.
What is one important self-care tip you can
share with our readers that you were given I Will continue to advocate for
early in life that you still rely on today?

As an athlete, recovery and rest are
important. I will see my chiropractor, massage
therapist and many other things to keep my made progress but there is still
body feeling rested and healthy. Additionally,
when I was a kid, every morning I would go
into my mom's room and she would do my
hair – it was such a nice bonding experience
to have that one-on-one time with her. I try
to replicate that now with Camryn, and it's a
really nice moment for me.
