COOPER MOUNTAIN
WILLAMETTE VALLEY
PINOT NOIR
REG ULAR $30.99
GAZETTE SP E CIAL $21.99
Pinot Noir can be finicky and unpredictable, and even
more so when you farm organically. Lots can go wrong,
but the team at Cooper Mountain has it down! More
often than not, one can tell when something is farmed
organically, and in this case biodynamically, which is even
more demanding, they tend to have a bit of a raw edge to
them, but that is absolutely absent from this delectable
Pinot. The fruit is clean fresh, and expressive of mixed
berries, cranberry, delicate spice and fleeting nuances of
oak, finessed yet substantial. A terrific bottle of Pinot that
lives up to both Mother Nature and a wine lover’s strict
standards. And as testamonial, it was equally as good the
second day, well done Cooper Mountain!

Bordeaux-style blend of equal parts Malbec and Cabernet
is made in the desert-like area of La Rioja, Argentina. The
grapes are sourced from a single vineyard and grown at
2380 feet above sea level where each vine is watered

rain per year. Aromas of ripe plum jam and blackberries

flavors of boysenberry pie with a touch of anise, coffee
